In 2009, the Exporter Coaching Program will be developed, an initiative of Prochile that seeks to promote and increase the exporting abilities of small and medium companies, and will attempt to give at least 50 small and medium companies the skills they need to export on a constant basis. To this end, groups will be made up of between 10 and 15 small and medium sized business executives, and will be headed by one executive with broad experience in international business, who will act as a coach and facilitator and will be hired by ProChile. The objective is to stage a series of sessions over a period of seven or eight months, encouraging the transfer of knowledge and experience between companies, and offering help in formulating an Export Business Plan.
Carlos Lewit, our General Manager, is participating in a group of companies and services and has told us that in only three meetings he has obtained pertinent ideas for our own export project.
